Enchanting Journey from Fes to Marrakech: A Tapestry of Culture and Nature

Embark on an immersive 8-day odyssey from the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes, to the vibrant city of Marrakech. This journey, woven with cultural wonders and natural landscapes, unfolds the rich tapestry of Morocco. From the Blue City of Chefchaouen to the captivating dunes of Merzouga, through the ancient Kasbahs, and into the bustling streets of Marrakech, this tour promises an unforgettable experience.

 

Day 1: Arrival - Transfer from the Airport to Your Hotel

Upon your arrival, we’ll warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. Take the day to relax and prepare for the adventures that await.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing

Dive into the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes, with a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Medina. Explore the Al Qaraouine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the Nejjarine Fountain. A traditional lunch in the Medina is followed by further exploration, including the Jewish Quarter (The Mellah), culminating in a return to the Riad.

Day 3: Trip to Chefchaouen from Fes

Embark on a scenic journey to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. Traverse the Riff Mountains, explore the blue-hued Medina, markets, and picturesque streets. After a traditional lunch, explore the local market for handicrafts before settling in at a hotel.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

Embark on a southward journey through Morocco’s diverse landscapes. Encounter Ifran, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forest near Azrou, home to Barbary monkeys. Travel through Tizi n’Taghamt and Ziz Valley, stopping at Midelt for lunch. Arrive at Merzouga, where an evening camel trek leads to a night in the desert camp, complete with traditional dinner, drum music, and stargazing.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

Witness the sunrise in Merzouga before enjoying breakfast. Visit the Oasis of Tinghir, Todra Gorge, and the town of fossils, Erfoud. After a lunch stop, explore Dades Valley and travel the road of a thousand Kasbahs, visiting Skoura Oasis. The day ends in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Explore the Kasbah of Taourirt and Ouarzazate’s studios before heading to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Traverse the Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Road, passing Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech for a guided tour of Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Medina, and Souks. Explore the famous Jamaa Lafna Square and visit Koutoubia Mosque and the Majorelle Gardens.

Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing

Discover the Red City’s historical and cultural landmarks, including Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Medina, and Souks. Lunch at Jamaa Lafna Square precedes visits to Koutoubia Mosque and the Majorelle Gardens. Enjoy free time to explore before an overnight stay in a traditional Riad.

Day 8: Marrakech - Transfer to the Airport

Spend your final day exploring Marrakech at your own pace. If you’re leaving the country, we’ll arrange a transfer to the airport, concluding this enchanting journey.
