Who Are We ?

We were born and raised in the south of Morocco, in a small desert village where golden dunes meet a sky full of stars. For over 10 years, we have guided travelers from around the world through Morocco’s most iconic landscapes — from the bustling souks of Marrakech and the blue streets of Chefchaouen to the ancient medinas of Fes, the majestic High Atlas Mountains, the vast Sahara Desert, and the tranquil Atlantic coast.

Our Story

Our journey began with a single dream: to introduce visitors to the real Morocco, beyond the guidebooks. We started as local guides in Merzouga, leading camel treks, desert camps, and cultural tours. Over the years, our reputation has grown, and today, Morocco for Visitors creates tailor-made experiences for families, solo travelers, couples, and groups — all delivered with the same personal care and authentic touch.
Spend the day exploring the Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Visit Al Quaraouine University (founded in 859 AD), the world’s oldest operating university. See the Royal Palace gates, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and the famous tanneries where leather is dyed in ancient stone vats. Stroll the narrow alleys filled with artisans, souks, and traditional workshops. Overnight in Fes.

 FAQs & Tips

Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Morocco?

A:  This depends on your country of citizenship. Many nationalities, including those from the European Union, the United States, and Australia, do not need a visa for short stays. It is best to check with your local Moroccan embassy or consulate before you travel.

Q: What is the currency in Morocco?

A: The official currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). You can exchange money at airports, banks, and currency exchange offices in major cities. Credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants, but it’s good to have cash for smaller purchases in local markets.

Q: What languages are spoken in Morocco?

A: The official languages are Arabic and Amazigh (Berber). French is also widely spoken and understood, especially in cities and tourist areas. Many people who work in tourism speak English and Spanish as well.

Q: Is it safe to travel in Morocco?

A:  Yes, Morocco is a very safe country for tourists. As with any travel destination, it’s wise to be aware of your surroundings and take normal precautions.

Q: What is the best time of year to visit?

A:  The most popular times to visit are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is warm and pleasant. However, Morocco can be enjoyed all year round, with hot summers in the desert and cooler temperatures in the mountains during winter.

Q: What should I wear in Morocco?

A:  Modest clothing is recommended, especially when visiting religious sites or traditional villages. Lightweight, breathable clothes are best for the heat, and a scarf for women can be useful for covering shoulders or hair when needed.

Q: What is the best Morocco tour?

A: The “best” tour in Morocco depends on what you want to experience! For first-time visitors, a classic Imperial Cities and Desert Tour is highly recommended. These trips combine the bustling medinas of Marrakech and Fes with the serene beauty of the Sahara Desert. If you love adventure, a tour focused on trekking in the Atlas Mountains or surfing on the coast might be a perfect fit. For those interested in culture, a culinary tour or a visit to the blue city of Chefchaouen offers a deep dive into Moroccan life.

Q: How much does a Morocco trip cost?

A: A trip to Morocco can be a great value for travelers of all budgets. On a budget trip, you can expect to spend around $50-$70 or more per person per day. A mid-range trip, which includes staying in comfortable riads and enjoying organized activities, costs around $100-$150 or more per person per day. For a more luxurious experience with high-end hotels and private tours, a daily budget of $200+ or more per person is a good estimate.

Q: What is the best month to go to Morocco?

A: The best time to visit Morocco is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these months, the weather is warm and pleasant across the country, making it ideal for sightseeing in cities like Marrakech and trekking in the Atlas Mountains. The summer months (June to August) are very hot, especially in the desert, while winter (December to February) is cooler but excellent for exploring cities without the crowds.

Q: How much does a tour guide cost in Morocco?

A: The cost of a tour guide in Morocco varies depending on the city, the duration of the tour, and the guide’s experience. A private city guide for a half-day or full-day tour can cost anywhere from $50 to $80. In most of our private tours, a dedicated driver and guide are included as part of your package, providing a seamless and stress-free experience.
