Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdz – Draa Valley – Alnif – Merzouga Desert
Depart from Marrakech early in the morning. Travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). Stop to visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara, then drive through Agdz and the breathtaking Draa Valley, filled with palm groves and old kasbahs.
Pass by Alnif on your way to Merzouga. On arrival, switch to camels for an unforgettable ride into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset and enjoy a traditional dinner at the desert camp, followed by live Berber music and a night under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Todgha Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After enjoying a sunrise over the dunes, return by camel to Merzouga village. After breakfast, depart for Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops. Then travel through Tinghir to visit the impressive Todgha Gorges, where tall limestone cliffs rise dramatically around a palm oasis.
After lunch, begin your journey back through the High Atlas, passing through Ouarzazate once more. Arrive in Marrakech by evening, ending your memorable desert adventure.
