Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
Today, we will commence a 3-day journey to the Erg Chegaga Dunes in the Agadir desert. Following brunch, we will proceed south to Ouarzazate, where we will explore Taroudant, one of Morocco’s earliest communities. Fine craftsmanship can be observed at the souks. We will then pause for lunch at the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, we will proceed to Ouarzazate to investigate the city. Dinner will be served at a hotel in Ouarzazate, where we will also stay the night.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora – Erg Chegaga dunes.
Our 3 days tour from Agadir to Erg Chegaga Dunes involves a 4×4 vehicle voyage, with stops at a variety of locations for exploration and photography. Before arriving at the desert site, we will visit the Agdez and Draa Valley village villages, pause for lunch at Zagora, and travel off-road to the Mlaalg Oasis. We will ride camels to the high dunes to observe the sunset and spend the night in a private or nomadic yurt, as per your preference.
Day 3: Chegaga – Taznakht – Agadir.
The day will commence with breakfast and a refreshment at the site, following which we will embark on an exploration of the surrounding area. After visiting Iriki Lake and Fum Zguit hamlet, we will pause in Taznakhet for a traditional Berber picnic.
Subsequently, we will proceed to Taliouine, which is renowned for its saffron, and conclude the day in Taroudant, which is also referred to as “small Marrakech.” Our three-day desert tour will conclude with a return journey to Agadir.
