DAY 1: OUARZAZATE – SKOURA OASIS – ROSES VALLEY – DADES GORGES
Our desert excursion will commence from Ouarzazate following brunch. Our initial destination will be the Skoura oasis, followed by a visit to the stunning Amridel Kasbah and the rose valley of Kalaat Mgouna. Subsequently, we will proceed to the Dades Valley, which is renowned for its numerous kasbahs. We will pause here to appreciate the tranquil atmosphere of the Dades Gorges, which are the residence of numerous nomadic families. Lastly, we will spend the night in a traditional riad.
DAY 2: DADES GORGES – TOUDGHA GORGES – ALNIF – MHARCH – TAFRAOUTE
We will depart from the Dades Valley after consuming brunch. A visit to the enigmatic Berber village of Mharch Tafraoute is included in our itinerary. Nevertheless, we will first investigate locations such as Alnif and some lesser-known villages, including Tazoulate and Fzou, where we will have a picnic. Ultimately, we will arrive at Mharch Tafraoute and spend the night at a delightful guest house.
DAY 3: MHARCH – KHAMLIA – ERG CHEBBI DUNES – MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE
We will be traveling to the lodging in the Merzouga village on this day of our Desert Tour from Ouarzazate. We will commence our voyage by visiting the palm plantations of Tafilalet, which we will investigate in our 4×4 vehicle. Rissani, the sacred domain of the Moroccan royal family, will be our next destination. It is also an ancient market that served as the hub of numerous caravans from the Sub-Saharan region. Following this, we will ride camels to our desert shelter in the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will spend an unforgettable night.
DAY 4: ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI – ALNIF – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE
We will observe the majesty of the sunrise in Merzouga village and subsequently travel to the palm plantations of Tafilalet by 4×4 vehicle. We will pause in Alnif for lunch and subsequently visit Rissani, Tazarine, N’kob, Tansikht, and Agdez before concluding our 4 day tour from Ouarzazate to the Merzouga desert in Ouarzazate.
