DAY 1: AGADIR – TAROUDANT – AGDZ DRAA VALLEY.
We will commence our 6-day desert excursion from Agadir to Marrakech today. Taroudant, one of Morocco’s earliest communities, will serve as our initial destination. Before continuing our voyage to Agdz, we will investigate the souk and observe the craftsmanship of talented artisans. The Kasbah of Tamnougalt and the city at the confluence of the Draa and Dades valleys will be our destinations. Ultimately, we will dine and stay the night in a traditional Riad.
DAY 2: AGDZ – NKOB – TAZARIN – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT.
Today, we will commence our 6-day desert excursion from Agadir to Merzouga via Marrakech after breakfast. Our route will take us through picturesque southern Berber villages such as Nkob Kasbah, Tazarine, and Alnif. Before traveling to Merzouga via Rissani, we will visit a subterranean penitentiary that has been converted into a museum in Alnif and take a break for lunch. In Merzouga, we will experience the sunset from the highest dunes in North Africa by riding camels through the golden powdery dunes of Erg Chebbi. Subsequently, we will participate in a Berber music performance and dinner, and we will spend the night in a nomadic camel fur shelter.
DAY 3: OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGE – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
We will commence our 6-day desert excursion from Agadir to Marrakech today, during which we will observe the sunrise each morning before departing our camp. Merzouga, the Tinghir Oasis, and the Todra Gorges will be our destinations. We will dine at a local restaurant and then proceed to tour the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and Dades Valley. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate, which is known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH.
After brunch today, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and investigate the studios in Ouarzazate. Afterward, we will proceed to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and renowned filming location. We will traverse the high mountain landscapes of Tizi n’Tichka Road and numerous Berber villages in the afternoon. Ultimately, we will reach Marrakech and settle into a hotel.
Day 5: Sightseeing in Marrakech
Embark on a 6-day desert excursion from Agadir to Marrakech to discover the Red City of Marrakech. Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic School, Medina, Souks, Koutoubia Mosque, and Majorelle Gardens are all worth visiting. Savor a traditional brunch at a restaurant located on Jemaa El Fna Square. During the excursion, lodge at a traditional Riad.
DAY 6: AGADIR – MARRAKECH
Following brunch, you will have the opportunity to independently explore the Red City. Subsequently, we will travel to Agadir by car, stopping to admire the Atlas Mountains. This concludes our six-day desert tour from Agadir to Marrakech.
