Day 1: Mohamed V Airport - Casablanca City Center

Welcome to Morocco! After a long flight, we’ll greet you at Mohamed V Airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Casablanca city center. Take this opportunity to unwind and rest. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat

Embark on a journey to Casablanca, where the grand Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside Mecca, awaits your exploration. Feel the coastal breeze along the Cornish seaside before heading to Rabat, the Moroccan capital. Discover the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah, and find solace in your Riad at the heart of the Medina.

Day 3: Rabat - Chefchaouen City Tour

Post-breakfast, set out on the road to Chefchaouen, arriving in the midday sun. Explore the unique medina with its white-washed walls and blue doors, a city influenced by Spanish civilization. Dive into the local culture, meet residents, and wander through the charming Medina. Rest for the night in your Riad.

Day 4: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes – Fes

Depart for Volubilis, the Roman ruins, and the holy town of Moulay Idriss after breakfast. Continue to Meknes, exploring the Medina, El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, and more. Immerse yourself in history and culture. The night welcomes you to your accommodation.

Day 5: Exploring Fes

Roam the alleys of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, after breakfast. Visit cultural and historical landmarks, including the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarters, and the renowned Al Qaraouine University. After lunch, explore the ceramic factory and enjoy panoramic views over the Medina. The new city, “La Ville nouvelle,” awaits for a refreshing drink. Rest for the night in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 6: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Arfoud - Merzouga

Embark on a scenic journey toward Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Experience the beauty of the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains, making stops at Azrou and the famous cedar forest. Travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges. Lunch precedes the route to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud, with the landscape evolving from lush valleys to desert hints. Arrive in Merzouga, greeted with mint tea before settling into your Riad.

Day 7: Merzouga Area and Camel Trek

Explore Merzouga after breakfast, visiting the Gnawa people, the Merzouga lake, and the nomad wire house. Take a camel trek, guided by an experienced camel man, to delve into the sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner awaits in front of the tent, where you’ll spend the night, equipped with flash-toilets and a shower.

Day 8: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise, then camel-trek back to Merzouga. Journey to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges—the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Drive through the Dades Valley, capturing the beauty of the thousand Kasbahs. Nightfall brings you to Kalaa M’gouna, the “rose city,” for an overnight stay in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 9: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate

Drive through the Dades Valley, exploring Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate after breakfast. Marvel at the thousand Kasbahs along the way and stop at Kalaa Mgouna to purchase rosewater. Continue to Skoura and the Dirds Valley, visiting the well-preserved Kasbah Ameridil. Hike in the valley before lunch with a panoramic view. The journey continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” with the option to visit movie studios. Overnight accommodation in a local Riad.

Day 10: Ouarzazate – Taroudant

After breakfast, head to Taroudant via Taznakht, stopping at Taliouine to visit the Safran co-operative. Experience the Safran harvest if your visit coincides. Arrive in Taroudant, explore the ramparts, and wander the small alleys in the Medina—a taste of “the little Marrakech.”

Day 11: Taroudant - Agadir - Essaouira

Travel to Essaouira via Agadir after breakfast. Enjoy a lunch stop in Agadir and witness the Argan area, famous for its scenery and Argan trees. Observe goats climbing the trees in search of ripe food. Arrive in Essaouira, the “City of the Wind,” with overnight accommodation in a Riad in the Medina.

Day 12: Exploring Essaouira

After Riad breakfast, explore Essaouira’s Skala Fortress, port, souks, and Thuya wood craftsmanship. Walk through the Medina’s alleys, characterized by blue doors and washed walls. Discover the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, and the beach. Essaouira is known for its winds, making it a haven for surfers. Lunch includes freshly caught fish, cooked to order. The afternoon is free for personal exploration. Overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 13: Essaouira – Marrakech

Depart for Marrakech after breakfast, with an opportunity to visit the Argan oil co-operative. Arrive in Marrakech, check in to your Riad, and enjoy an evening stroll in Jemaa El Fna Square, filled with magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers.

Day 14: Exploring Marrakech

Discover Marrakech after breakfast, exploring historical and cultural sites like the Saadian tombs, the Palace of El Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square precedes visits to the “Majorelle Gardens” and Koutoubia Tower. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 15: Marrakech Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains

Embark on a day trip to the Atlas Mountains, starting with the villages of Asni and Imlil. Enjoy scenic views through the gorges of Moulay Brahim and the village of Imlil, immersing yourself in Berber culture. Hiking opportunities and breathtaking views of the Toubkal mountains await. Return to Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Day 16: Marrakech – Airport Transfer

Spend the morning shopping or relaxing in Marrakech before leaving mid-afternoon for Casablanca. Arrive by 4 pm or adjust the departure time to your convenience. Bid farewell to Morocco, concluding your unforgettable 16-day journey.
