Day 1: Casablanca – Arrival
Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco’s modern economic hub. Your driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest, perched dramatically over the Atlantic Ocean. Evening at leisure.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Depart for Rabat, the capital city, to visit the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue your journey through the Rif Mountains until reaching Chefchaouen, the famous blue-painted town. Evening is free to stroll its charming alleys.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, drive south to visit Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Meknes, the Imperial city known for Bab Mansour Gate and the Royal Stables. End the day in Fes. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
Explore Fes Medina, the oldest in the Arab world. Visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and artisan quarters. Walk through narrow alleys filled with markets, spices, and handicrafts. Evening at leisure in your riad.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests near Ifrane and Azrou. Stop in Midelt before descending into the Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp. Dinner under the stars with Berber music.
Day 6: Sahara Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up to a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart via Rissani, an old caravan town. Continue through Todra Gorge, famous for its dramatic cliffs, before arriving in the scenic Dades Valley. Overnight in a local hotel or kasbah.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Travel along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop for many films. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech.
Day 8: Full Day in Marrakech
Guided tour of Marrakech: visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and the colorful souks. Afternoon free for personal exploration or optional hammam experience. In the evening, experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.
Day 9: Marrakech Free Day
A day at leisure in Marrakech to relax, shop, or enjoy optional excursions such as a day trip to the Ourika Valley or a cooking class.
Day 10: Marrakech – Departure
